What Is Accident Forgiveness?

Accident forgiveness is when insurers say they won’t raise your rate in the event you have an at-fault accident claim. Some offer it as a perk for being with them a long time (hell Allstate!). Or, you can buy it as an add-on from the very beginning. Usually you have to have been accident free for at least 3 to 5 years in order to be eligible for this perk.
